The graph below shows the changes in food consumption by Chinese people between 1985 and 2010.

The given line graph depicts changes in consuming three kinds of food by the population of China over the period from 1985 to 2010. Overall, it can be clearly seen that fish and meat consumption increased, while consuming salt decreased.

According to the graph, it is vividly shown that, consuming fish products was always the highest amongst other two types of food in China. So, in 1985, the amount of fish consumption was nearly 600 grams of fish per week per person, which then increased gradually by 1990 to around 700 grams per week. Then, it dipped slightly from 700 to 600 grams per week. However, consuming fish reached a peak of almost 850 grams per week per person.

On the other hand, in 1985, meat consumption was not so popular as salt. Although, consuming salt fell steadily to just over 200 grams per week per person by 2010, while demand for meat doubled from 100 to 200 grams per week per person, and ended at the same level as salt.
