The graph below shows the consumption of fish and different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The figure illustrates information about weekly usage of fish and various kinds of meat for each person in gram in a period of time, from 1979 to 2004.

As graph shows, chicken and lamb had approximately an equal amount of consumption of consumption at the beginning of the year 1979, and then chicken consumption soared steadily up to the year 2004. Furthermore, lamb became less popular than chicken and the weekly usage of it decreased until the year 2004 to almost 150 grams for each person per week. However, it seems that the most popular meat was the beaf at the beginning of the year 1979, but after some fluctuations it lost its position by a decreasing slope on top of lamb by the year 2004. Therefore, chicken grasped the first place among all meat and fish in the year 2004.

The fish consumption had almost a steady declining slope between the year 1979 to 2004. Also, it began by 60 grams per person in the year 1979 and ended by 40 grams by the year 2004. Therefore, the most unpopular stuff was fish among all of them.
