The line graph demonstrates the proportion of people using radio and television throughout the day form October to December in United Kingdom in the year of 1992. Overall, It is illustrate that most of British watched television in the afternoon in 1992 while majority of people listened radio in the morning.
Looking at the graph in more detailed, the percentage of radio audience witnessed a sharp increase by approximately 20% from 6.00 a.m to 8.30 a.m and reached a peak of nearly 27%. After that, there was a gradual drop from 27% to about 1% between 8h30 a.m and 2 a.m in the number of British listening radio in 1992 before keeping stable in next 4 hours. In contrast, the ratio of television audience fluctuated between 6.00 a.m and 2 p.m before soaring up by nearly 30% and peaked at 45% in 8 p.m. Between 8 p.m and 2 p.m, the total people using television plunged and bottomed out of 1% at nearly 2.30 a.m. After that, there was a slight rise from 1% at 2.30 a.m to nearly 3% at 6 a.m in the ratio of British watching television in 1992.
