Overall, it can be seen that all four countries experienced an upward trend throughout the given period, except for Colombia. In addition, Brazil produced the highest amount of coffee, while the lowest figures were recorded in Vietnam in all four years.
Turning to the chart for the detail, in 1990, the amount of coffee produced stood at 0.7 million tonnes in Brazil, in comparison with 0.6 million tonnes in Colombia. During the following 20 years, the figure for Brazil grew dramatically to end the period, at 1.9 million tonnes. By contrast, there was a significant decrease in the coffee production in Colombia to 0.3 million tonnes in the last year.
In terms of other countries, the production of coffee in Indonesia and Vietnam were 0.2 and 0.1 million tonnes respectively. By 1995, these figures stayed relatively unchanged before rising considerably to finish the period at 0.4 and 0.3 million tonnes respectively in 2010.
