The two pie charts illustrates a comparison of the weekly expenditures in both countries (US, UK) in the year 2010
Looking at the pie charts, it is conspicuous that spending on rent accounted accounted for the higest percentage in the UK, while in the US it was food. In addition, expenditures on DVDs were the lowest in both of the nations.
In England, the highest proportion was spent on accommodation, which accounted for 30%. Next, the rate of expense on food which was 12% lower than that on accommodation. Besides, 15% of people in this country spent amount of money on outdoor activities and transportation. The lowest percentage was books and DVDs activities, which made up 12% and 10% of their expenses, respectively.
Turning to America, foodstuffs contributed the largest proportion of spending at 25%. In addtion, the rate of expense on accmmodation was only 20%. Transportation, entertainment and reading each of them inculuded 15%. Similar to the UK, America spent a lowest rate on DVDs, which consisted of 10%
