The graphs below represent recent rates of intermediate and upper studies among communities in some regions in the world. In general, the percentage of Europe’s residents in both graphs is the highest among the rest and school - aged rates are almost higher than upper education.
It seems that female rates of education in secondary schools except East Asia are over the male ones. In upper education, the tendency is in contrast with Europe rates stand still but nearly halves of school - aged, which the female percent is almost 100 in intermediate level and nearly 50 in higher education. The percentage of male in Europe drops as many as the female, which is over 40% left.
Contradictorily, SSA percentage of male increases from 10% to over 20% of school - aged population and adult population respectively. The female rates in this region remain the same in both categories. The percentage of male in East Asia also drops almost 20% from school - aged to upper studies but is still higher than the female rates. In higher education, the male rates in East Asia is lower than ones in Latin America, which is nearly 30% and comes second in the graph.
