he charts below show the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and amount of time spent doing housework and households in one country between 1920 and 2019

The first line chart compares the proportion of residences containing three particular appliances from 1920 to 2019 and the second one describes the hours of household work per week in that time in each home.

Generally speaking, the accommodations containing refrigerators and vacuum cleaners increased in the given period while the digit of households having a washing machine remained constant after a gentle increase in the first three years.

Turning to the first line chart, In 1920, about 40% of houses had a washing machine followed by the figure for vacuum cleaners at almost 30%. Although in the opening year no residence had refrigerators, this figure exhibited rapid growth to reach a peak in 1980 and stayed constant afterward. Having a vacuum cleaner also became a very common appliance in the given period as it significantly rose to 100% in 2000. In the last ten years, every accommodation in the country had a vacuum cleaner and a refrigerator. In spite of a gradual growth to 70% till 1960, the number of houses having washing machines stayed under 75% until 2019.

A glance at the second line chart reveals that, In 1920, the number of housework per week in each residence was the highest at 50%. However, this trend declined drastically to about 10% in 1980 and remained stable over the given time except for a slight dip in 2019.
