IELTS 10 Test 3 Writing task 1 The charts below show what UK graduate and postgraduate students who did not go into full time work did after leaving college in 2008 Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison

The bar chart illustrates the activities carried out by both UK graduates and postgraduate students who did not engage in full-time work after completing college in the year 2008. Generally, most graduates and postgraduates furthered their studies, while an insignificant number of both groups offered themselves for voluntary work. Many graduates and postgraduates engaged in part-time work. However, the number of postgraduates that were unemployed were significantly lower in relation to those that engaged in part-time work, a sharp contrast when compared to UK graduates.

29,665 graduates engaged in further studies after finishing school, making it the highest step taken by graduates. The opposite was the case for graduate that volunteered themselves for work as they were the very least, numbering 3,500. There was no much difference between graduates that decided to carry out part-time jobs and those that were actually unemployed, having 17,735 and 16,235 in numbers respectively.

Similar to graduate, most postgraduates furthered their studies, numbering 2,725. Voluntary work was less appealing to them as less than 500 of them chose that option. A lot of postgraduates took up part-time work with a boastful figure of 2,535, while those that remained unemployed where 1,625.
