IELTS Task 1 - Tables give information about sales of fairtrade-labelled coffee and bananas in 1999 and 2004 in five European countries

The given table charts provide details about the sales of coffee and bananas which was purchased by five different countries from 1999 to 2004.

Overall, it is interesting to note that the sale of coffee was the highest in united kingdom whereas the sale of bananas was most preffered by citizens of switzerland.

It is Apparent from the chart that the sale of coffee was 1.5 million euros in UK which was one fifth in 2004, whereas Switzerland preferred 3 millions euros sale of coffee in 1999, it doubled in 2004. The sale of coffee was 1.8 million euros in Denmark,while sale was similar in Belgium. Moreover. around 1 million euros of sale was preferred by citizens of Sweden.

Moving further, the sale of Bananas was more preferred by Switzerland which was 47 million euros in 2004, which followed by 1 million in UK. In addition, the masses of Belgium purchased bananas 0 6 million euros in 1999 which increased in 2004, whilst the minimum sale of Bananas was preferred by Sweden in 1999. The sale of banana was 2 million euros in Denmark which decreased in 2004.
