The line chart illustrates the information about the proportion of internet users in three American countries (the the USA, Canada and Mexico) in a decade.

Overall, it is evident that the number of people accessing the internet experienced an upward trend, while the least number of people using the internet was observed in Mexico.

In 1999, of about 20% of Canadian accessed the internet, increasing exponentially to about 60% in the following 5 years before surpassing that of the USA’s figure (70%) in 2005. From 2006 to 2009, the percentage of Canada’s population accessing the internet rose exponentially and it finished at around 100% in the last reported year. Meanwhile, the usa was seen as the highest percentage of citizens using the internet in 1992. it commenced at around 25%, doubling in 2003 and stepped up significantly to about 70% in 2006 before finishing the period just below 80%.

In contrast, the percentage of Mexican accessing the internet was the lowest among the countries. it stood just below 10% in the initial year, rising by 20% in 2005, finishing just over 30% in 2009.
