The line chart illustrates the amount of oil produced and consumed every day in China from 1982 to 2006.
Looking at the graph, it is immediately obvious that the demand was more than providing. Additionally, China witnessed an increase in both the production and consumption of oil over the period shown.
In 1982, the number of petroleum manufactured in China met enough about the needs of the people living here, with about 2 million for both. Over the next eight years, the rate of oil using rose slightly to approximately 2 million, while the oil generation increased significantly per day to 3 million barrels in 1986 and then remained constant until 1990.
However, a reversal occurred at the rest of the phase. Since 1990 onwards, the quantity of oil made experienced a trivial rise at roughly 3.5 million casks in 2006. Meanwhile, in the same time period, the amount of oil Chinese people use soared like a rocket, up to just over 6 million barrels.
