Essay topics:

The map bellow is of the town of Garlsdon. A new supermarket (S) is planned for the town. The map shows two possible sites for the supermarket.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The following map illustrates the Garsdon town with 65000 population, and the two potential locations that one of them will be selected as the site to construct a new supermarket.
As can be clearly observed from the map, there are two distinct places which are labeled as S1 and S2. S1 is located in north west countryside of the town. Main roads and railway pass around S1 and its distance to Hindon (with 10000 population) is 12 km. However, far more individuals of Cransdon and Bransdon in south will experience further trips to reach S1.
Turning to the second possible site, unlike S1, S2 is placed rather the center of the town at no traffic zone. Housing part of the town surrounds S2 as well as two industry sections in the north and south. Then, people who are living in there will conveniently access S2 rather than S1. While railway and main roads are near S2, its distance from Cransdon with 29000 population is 25 km. Meanwhile, 15000 individuals who dwell in Bransdon will need to make a 16 km journey to reach S2.
Overall, it is clear from the map that whereas S2 is nearer to far more people than s2, it is likely that S2 will benefit from low-price lands of countryside as well as plenty of possible spaces for car park.
