The map illustrates the alterations in an American town from 1948 to 2010. At first glance, it is evident that the most noticeable changes occurred for decreasing number of green areas in American town in 2010.
To begin with the southeast part of the town, there was a new sport stadium which had been built to replace the position of Church in previous time. Nevertheless, the presence of residential houses, which was in the northeast of sport stadium remained unchanged over the entire period.
In accordance with the other changes, 1948 to 2010 witnessed a dramatic replacement of local supermarket, several resident houses, a park and factories, which were located in the centre of the town and located just beside the river, in which it had been changed to be new commercial buildings, new supermarket and airport. In contrast, the existence of petrol station, which was in the opposite of supermarket and commercial buildings, remained stable between 1948 and 2010.
