the diagram reveals information on the current and the planned development at the Islip town center.
from an overall perspective, there was a significant difference in the town would become more developed pedestrians-friendly.
the most change in the planned development is the construction of a ring road encompassing the whole city. This road will be a dual carriageway and it is going to significantly improve the connectivity in that part of the town
it is interesting to note that firstly, there is the main road which goes in East-West direction and there are shops on both sides of the road. secondly, In the South-East corner of the town, there is a park, which will be retained in the new development. The school in the southwest corner of the city center will be kept and connected to the park via a new road.

The current main road will be replaced by a pedestrian-only walkway through the center of the town. The Northside of the walkway will have a new bus station, shopping center, car park, and new housing. there was a similar trend in the pass of the south with shops
