Percentage of boys and girls aged 5-14 in Australia participating in various activities
The graph illustrates that the percentage of boys and girls aged 5-14 in Australia who take part in different activities ( skateboarding//rollerblading, cycling, watch TV,computer games and arts can craft)
According to the graph, there are almost 100 /% boys and girls choose watch TV while compare with watching tv this popular activity there are 80/% boys like play computer games and three-fifths of girls also enjoy this, but for art can craft activities girls take up nearly 50/% and these figures are twice as much as boys do.
As can be seen from the graph, there are some outdoor activities including skateboarding or rollerblading, boys represents 40/%whereas girls only account for below 25/%Cycling is another outdoor activity which 60/%of boys like to participate in meanwhile it is also enjoyable movement for girls and the number of this can reach to 40/%.
Overall, during these two week period for collecting data we find that some outdoor activities attract more boys’ attention than girls’.
