The pie chart below shows the main reasons why agricultural land becomes less productive. The table shows how these causes affected three regions of the world during the 1990s. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The pie chart demonstrates the causes of the declining productivity of farmland and the table represents a description of three places that how these reasons affect the cultivation process in 1990.

Overall, what stands out from the graph is that over-grazing was the main reason for the land deterioration. In addition according to the table in Europe, North America and Oceania the deforestation, over-cultivation, and over-grazing were the most responsible causes for land degradation.

To begin with the pie chart, over-grazing was the source of 35% loss of land, while deforestation was in the second. All around the world, 30% of land decay happened due to deforestation. Moreover, over-cultivation was another reason which causes 28% of ground erosion. Furthermore, there were several reasons for land degradation in percentage which was 7%.

Turning to the table, Europe was the topmost for land erosion than all other regions, 23 percent of total land degraded among the three features deforestation causes 9.8%, while over-grazing was the least (5%). In 1990, only 5% of the entire land corrosion had taken place in North America. Here most lands degraded because of over-cultivation (3.3%), whereas there was no soil erosion in Oceania due to this reason. But among 13%, 11% was responsible for over-grazing.
