The two pie charts depict the difference in the contribution of eight sectors in India and Turkish economies in the year 2000.
Overall, it can be manifested that the lowest contribution in the Indian economy was done by the construction sector and the top contributor was agriculture. Whereas Turkey's economy was mostly contributed by the healthcare and education sector and the least contribution was made by finance, business and other sectors.
First of all, in India, agriculture's contribution towards the economy was almost one fourth (24%) of the entire economy and the government's contribution was half of that (12%). The two sectors leisure and hospitality and health and education contributed identically (17%) to the economy. Manufacturing (8%) alone contributed equally to the total contribution of finance, business and others and construction as the former one contributed 5% and the latter one contributed 3%. The contribution of trade utilises and transportation was 14% for the economy.
On contrary, the most significant sector for the Turkish economy was healthcare and education by contributing largely 17% of the total economy followed by trade, utilities and transportation at 1% lower than that. Agriculture and proportion (14%) for the economy. The finance, business and others, government and construction gives 8%, 9%, 10% respectively for the economy. 12% was contributed by the manufacturing sector for this economy.
