The pie charts below show how dangerous waste products are
dealt with in three countries.
The given pie-charts detail the proportional figure of different waste disposal practices followed in the Republic of Korea, Sweden, and The United Kingdom.
Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that similar procedures are followed by the Republic of Korea, and Sweden under different proportions as compared to the United Kingdom, who uses a slightly different approach for the same.
According to the given illustration, to begin with, nearly 7 out of 10 waste products are recycled in the Republic of Korea, while only one-fourth of the total waste follows recycling in Sweden. Moving on, over half of the waste in Sweden is dug under the ground as against just 22% in the Republic of Korea. Further, the least liked approach in both countries is incineration, with 20% in Sweden, and just 9% in the Republic of Korea.
By contrast, about four-fifth of the total waste goes into the ground in the United Kingdom. Furthermore, whilst the chemical treatment and dumping at sea accounts for 8% each, merely 2% of the entire waste undergoes incineration.
