The maps below illustrates the design plans of a university’s sport centre before and after the improvement. It can be clearly seen that two outdoor courts are removed, as a result, all of the facilities are arranged in the indoor court. Most importantly, there are plenty of facilities that will be built and developed. Something that will be remained the same are the centre pool, seating, changing room, and reception.
Despite the changing room is not changed, there are two additional changing room that can be found on two corners of the building, one is beside sports shop and the other one is next to the cafe. To the west of the architecture, there is a huge leisure pool, beside the old changing room. Moreover, the gym will be expanse lengthwise that almost stuck to the wall if it is not obstructed by the new dance studio. Nevertheless, there are two dance studios located side by side.
Sports hall is planned to be situated between the seating and dance studio. However, this will not bigger than the 25 m pool. In completion, the plans are expected to improve the facilities and placed it on the indoor area.
