The maps depict the layout of Public Park in its opening year in 1920 and in 2020. Overall, it is clear that during 100 years, a lot of changes have been made. However, the Park area remains the same.
The first obvious change can be seen on the west side of the map, which involves the alteration of Stage for Musicians into Amphitheatre for Concerts in 2020. The next apparent modification is shown by the deduction of Rose Gardens, from three into two Rose gardens. Besides, one of them is now moved into the center of the Park, along with four Seats rows, into Fountain's former location.
Other changes are including the transformation of Glasshouse, which is located near the Eldon Street Entrance, into a Water feature. Moreover, Pond for Water Plants is also transformed into Children's Play Area, and another Rose garden, which is located near Arnold Avenue Entrance, is altered into a Cafe. Besides, a new Underground Car Park has been built, in the bottom side of the Park.
