The maps depict the layout of Grange Park in 1920 and today. It is clear that main structures have been remained, but there are totally different facilities now.
With a closer observation, there are some things in common, like two entrances. Besides, the Rose Garden located in the northern park has been reserved except for its seats. However, the southern on has been demolished, as well as those seats.
Similarly, most new facilities have replaced those before. In the west, there were a Stage for musicians. But now, it becomes an Amphitheatre for concerts. Even though they are both for enjoying the music, but the latter is more advanced. In the center of the park, a spacious rose garden with seats around it has replaced a small fountain. Let us move to the east, there used to be a Pond for water plants, but now, it is occupied by a children's play area. A Rose garden nearby also changed into a Cafe. The last difference is on the southeast, a Glasshouse was altered into a Water feature.
In conclusion, the former park reflects Chinese traditional architecture. Conversely, the new one is more modern. In addition, those facilities occupied more space than before. Also, the park now is more colorful and suitable for entertainment than before, especially for children.
