The plans demonstrate the layout of old public park, when it was opened in 1920 and how it was reconstructed with modern facilities in recent times.
Overall, some infrastructures have been replaced and modified, while some modern facilities have been added. Furthermore, both entrances are remained at same place.
According to the maps, the old fountain which was in the middle of the 1920 park has been replaced by rose garden surrounding with seating facilities. Similarly, stage for musicians was modified and now we can see modern Amphitheatre for concerts, at the same place, in the west side of park.
However, the rose garden which was next to the Arnold Avenue entrance was replaced by café for public. Similarly, old pond also has been replaced by children’s playing area and pond is shifted near to the Eldon street entrance with modern water feature and bigger size, by replacing glass house.
