While both entrances still exist, a new underground entrance from the car park to the south-east corner of the park is added. Another major difference is the replacement of the central fountain with a rose garden, leading to the relocation of seats from the walls to the surrounding of this garden. There is also another rose garden in the north-west corner which was available since 1920, whereas the other garden on the north-east part is now substituted with a café, and the third rose garden which used to be at the south-west is totally removed.
In addition, the traditional stage for musicians at the left side is renovated to an amphitheater for concerts, and the glasshouse in the south-east part was changed to a water feature. The last but not least difference is the replacement of pond on the north-east corner with a play area for kids.
