The diagram illustrates the plans of redevelopment Southwest Airport next year. We can see clearly that the airport will have a significant change after one year. Among that, the improvement of walkway into sky train is the most noticeable part in the whole project. They would be expanded into 2 branches of way with 18 gates in instead of 8 gates as now. People also plan to open the shops on the left area, which is between gate 1 and security passport control. For now, we only have check-in point on the left and cafe on the upper-right corner of departure area until they would be moved respectively to the right and lower-left corner next year. Besides, there would be more constructions in arrivals. People would fill the blank space by the café, ATM and car hire.
The only thing that might be kept unchanged as the plans shown is the layout of the Southwest Airport in the following year. There would be still 7 areas in the same orders of arrangement.
In conclusion, it would certainly be more convenient and user-friendly if the infrastructure was complimented as the project.
