The process shows how plants create food.

The illustration shows the process of food manufacturing from plants.
As far as the diagram, two main steps to fulfill this process are that plants absorb necessary ingredients and create products.
Now, turning to detail, to keep the process normal, leaves of plants need to be supplied enough two factors that carbon dioxide and sunlight from the environment to carry out the metabolism. Besides, roots also must be received minerals in soil and water from the rains or from groundwater sources.
After being collected all of the essential substances, plants divert to process of creating food. Firstly, carbon dioxide is absorbed by leaves changed to oxygen which is an indispensable part in the life of people and animals. At the same time, leaves combine minerals, water and sunlight to manufacture a compound called sugar. The last process is that plants transform sugar to starch with the aim to use its product for growth and repair the organs that are malfunctioning or damaged.
