the proportion of energy capacity in gigawatts in 2012 with the predictions for 2030
The pie charts illustrates the comparison of energy output in terms of percentage in the year 2012 and the forecast for 2030.
Overall, the productiveness from 6 sectors will not remain relatively similar over the period. Fossil fuels will be contributed the most to the energy productivity, followed by predicted other renewables and solar segment. In addition, Wind, nuclear and flexible capacity also accounted for the overall output.
Comparatively, the energy power, as it seen from the projection, will increase almost twofold, from 5,579 in 2012 to 10,569 in 2030 gigawatts. More specifically, while wind power slightly rose from 5 to 12% by 7%, the most significant increase was in solar sector, growing from 2 to 18%, that is more than nine fold.
Contrary to the growth seen in solar and wind output, the most contributed to the capacity sector of fossil fuels in 2012 will have greatly declined up to 20% for the projected year, from 64 to 44%. Following almost the same trajectory, the second segment of other renewables which made up big part of the chart is foretold to decrease at 3%, from 22 to 19 per cents.
