Space exploration requires huge amount of funds and resources, which lead to criticism by many, on the account that such funds could be used for solving immediate problems on earth. It is believed that space exploration is the necessary evil as it help expand human knowledge and will benefit humanity in future. Space exploration will help solve the problem of rising population and depletion of natural resources on the earth.
Firstly, space exploration can help with rising population on earth. For instance, space exploration can lead to finding of another habitable planet. Thus, solving the earth population problem as people can be relocated to the new planet. Therefore, one of the main reason space exploration should be continued.
A second reason is that space exploration can help with the depleting natural resources on the earth. For example, it can lead to discovery of planetary bodies rich in mineral, water, etc. It is obvious from the example that harvesting of mineral and water from such bodies would benefit the earth population. Thus, it can be concluded that space exploration is beneficial to humanity in future.
In conclusion, space exploration will help solve rising population and scarcity of natural resources on the earth. Thus, space exploration is necessary and will help the humanity and the earth in the long run. It is recommended that space exploration should take the front seat as it will help solve future problems.
