Some people state that parents have the most essential role in a child’s development. However, others argue that TV or friends are the most significant influence. Discuss both view and state your opinion.
In the developed society, some people believe that TV or friends will give a better education to children than their parents. This essay disagrees with this statement and supports that parents are the best method to instruct children.
On the one hand, it is clear that televisions give people several benefits. But it also brings some disadvantages to people’ children. Begin with the information; children are too small to realize what is good or bad. Moreover, they cannot classify the information they consume. For example, if children turn on the TV and see the program which is not eligible to them, they will copy that because they cannot understand the content of that program. Additionally, their eyes are affected by the blue lights from the screen. If people allow their child to sit in front of the TV screen for a long time, children will suffer from myopia and hyperopia when they mature.
On the contrary, some people assume that parents are the most factors to the development process of a baby. Because they will know what the best is for their children. Parents are the closest person who will train and tutor children until they grow up. For example, the speaking ability of toddlers is quite improved when they hear the parent’s words and imitate it. Furthermore, it is no doubt that the knowledge of parents is not enough to teach children. But it can be solved by the news or information from the Internet. In addition, with the infinity data, the internet is the best assistance to help parents instruct their children.
In conclusion, although TV provides people with much functionality, it may cause some health problems to children. Thus, I personally think that the role of parents is the best contribution to children life.
