The given table illustrates the police budget between from 2017 to 2018 on a Britain area while the pie charts show the distribution of these money.
It is clear that all of figures on the table increased and the amount paid to National government was the highest in both of years. In addition, while salaries and technology rised slightly, the expense of building and transport were unchange, salaries accounted for more than half of the budget for two consecutive years.
In term of the table, national government was the highest source of budget in both of years with 175.5m in 2017 and 177.8m pounds in 2018. Followed by local taxes with a significant increase, accounted for 91.2m pounds in 2017 and 102.3m in 2018. Other sources was the lowest figure with 38m and 38.5 in two years respectively, almost 150m pounds lower than the highest figure.
On the pie charts, in the year 2017, salaries was the highest distribution of this budget with 75%, took up 3/4 of the total budget. The percentage of buildings and transport were higher than the proportion that of technology comprised 17% and 8% respectively. In next year, the figure of salaries decreased almost 10%, it comprised 69% exactly but this number was still the highest proportion. The number of buildings and transport were unchange with 17%, still higher than the percentage that of technology with 14%.
