The number of native speakers of Hindi is the second highest in number (370 million). In comparison the total number of speakers of Hindi is roughly equal to the total number of speakers of Spanish language. But when it comes to speak these languages as an additional language then, the number of speaker of Hindi has the majority than the number of speaker of Spanish as an additional language. What is remarkable about English speakers is that the number of speakers of English as an additional language has the greater number than the other numbers of speakers as an additional language and also much higher than the number of native speakers of English ( 603 million and 339 million respectively).
The number of native speakers of Arabic and Portuguese is almost exactly in number with 206 million and 203 million respectively. However, the number of speakers of Arabic as an addition language (24 million) is almost 2.5 times higher than the number of speakers of Portuguese as an additional language.

Hindi has the second largest number of native speakers, and is taken as a second language by 120 million people. Spanish take the third positions on number of native speakers and forth positions on number of total number of speakers, with 350 million and 420 million respectively. Arabic language takes the fifth position with and 230 million people speak this language which included 206 million native speakers. Portugese has the least native speaker. And only a few numbers of people used this language as an additional language.
