The table below gives information on consumer spending on different items in five different countries in 2002.
The table illustrates how much money the consumers spent on different goods in five distinct countries(Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and Turkey) in 2002.
As we can see, people in these five countries spent their money on three kinds of items: Food/Drinks/Tobacco, Clothing/Footwear, and Leisure/Education. Of the three sorts, Food/Drinks/Tobacco cost the consumers the most money and Leisure/Education the least money.
Among the five countries, Turkey had the highest expenditure on Food/Drinks/Tobacco—32.14%, while Sweden the smallest ratio—15.77%. However, as for Clothing/Footwear in the five states, the situation was different. Italians spent more money(9%) than any other people. Still, Swedish spent the least money(5.40%). Although Leisure/Education played the smallest role in the five peoples’ expense, the exact expenditure in these nations showed different ratios. 4.35% in turkey was the largest proportion and 1.98% in Spain the smallest percentage.
Overall, it can be seen clearly from the table that Food/Drinks/Tobacco cost the largest amount of money of the three kinds and Turkey spent the most money on it among the five countries.
