The table below shows the number of visitors
The table and the pie chart give information about the figures of people who visit Ashdown Museum and their level of satisfaction during its pre-refurbishment and post-refurbishment
Overall, it is noticeable that the sum of visitors rose significantly after Ashdown Museum was refurbished while, visitors’ attitudes towards their visit in this museum varied greatly between the two periods.
It can be seen from the table that there was a sharp increase in the number of museum of visitors as the figure after the refurbishment was one and a half times higher than that of the pre-refurbishment period. Specifically, the number of Ashdown museum goers before refurbishment was 74000 people whereas afterwards, there were totally 92000 visitors.
Before it was refurbished, the museum received a relatively low level of satisfaction from visitors as those who felt “very satisfied” and “satisfied” only accounted for nearly half of the respondents yet after the refurbishment, the statistic of these categories took up three fourths of the survey results. In conjunction with the rise in the figure of positive feedback about the museum, the proportion of “dissatisfied” and “very dissatisfied” visitors declined substantially from 50 percent before refurbishment to 20 percent after refurbishment. A group that witnessed no alteration was “no response” which remained at 5 percent throughout the period.
