The table shows the amount of money given to developing countries by the USA, EU countries and other countries from 2006 to 2010 (Figures are in millions of dollars)

The table compares the amount of financial aid provided by the United States, the members of the European Union and other countries to developing nations between 2006 and 2010.

Overall, it is evident that the total amount of aid, as well as the figures for each surveyed region all experienced an upward trend during this period. The US was the most significant financial contributor throughout the five years.

Between 2006 and 2008, the amount of financial assistance from the US nearly doubled, from 9.8 million dollars to 17 million. The figures for the US and other contributors also rose, from 3.1 to 3.4 million, and from 2.8 to 3.2 million dollars respectively. This caused the total amount of monetary aid to increase, from 15.7 million to 24.4 million dollars.

In 2009, all surveyed regions witnessed their figures slumping by 300,000 dollars. Yet, growth was seen in the final year of the surveyed period, with finishing numbers of 20.3, 4.1 and 3.7 million dollars for the US, the EU and other nations respectively. The total amount for all countries witnessed a similar trend, slumping by 0.9 million in 2009 before rebounding to a peak of 28.1 million in 2010.
