The given line chart illustrates the employment of teachers measured in Toronto over the period of six years started from 2001 to 2007

Overall,while there was a significant increase in french language teachers, the figure for english teachers witness a dramatic fall at the same time.

In 2001, there was a similar pattern in the percentages of french and english teachers ( at around 72 %). Two years later, french teacher experienced a significant soar to nearly 70%, in contrast, the figure for teachers who taught english fell by 30%. In 2005, both french and english teachers showed a mere climb to 70% and about 43%, respectively.

By the end of the surveyed period, while the percentage of english teachers witness a dramatic dip and then it plummeted to its rock bottom ( at roughly 27%), the rate of french teacher after shrank then it gathered and reached a peak of around 75%.
