The diagram illustrates the diverse kinds of transportation that was utilized by the people who live in one of European city in three different years, 1960, 1980, 2000 respectively.
Overall, the necessity of using car as transportation increased from 1960 to 2000, whereas number of travelers who use other types of travelling ways, decreased through the given period.
In detail, the car usage was 5 % among travelers at the beginning of period, then it showed a dramatic growth and jumped to 35 % in 2000. Although nearly 35% of citizens prefer to walk in order to reach work or their home in 1960, only 6% percentage of people used bike at the end given period.
Before the bus usage felt around 15% in terms of transportation in 2000, it reached a peak in 1980 approximately, 26% popularity. On the other hand, the preference of bike use showed a significant drop between 1960 and 2000 from 25% to 20%, then 6%.
