The given chart describes the distribution flow of Natural gas and how it is being obtained from its sources.
The main sources for Natural gas are from the Gas well, Oil well and importing through ships from distant places. The distribution occurs from the regional pipeline in various steps by transporting it to retail consumers.
The refined gas is sent the underground storage from refineries and plants after a refining process. Once after the gas reaches the storage it is then distributed in pipelines to banks in different regions. Later, from these storages, it then distributed using road containers and rail wagons to retail storages and further to retail consumers in small amounts.
Transportation happens through wagons having a capacity of 24,000 litres is expensive due to rail lines whereas, containers have larger storage of 40,000 litres and can be transported easily through roads. The retail store can store up to 120,000 litres from where it is further distributed using small delivery trucks holding a capacity of 12,000 litres to retail consumers.
