The figures below compare the number of internet users in several European nations as well as the prevalence of online shopping in these countries
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.

Given are the two graphs providing a comparison of Internet use in different European countries (namely Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain, and the UK) in 1995, 2000, 2004 as well as the popularity of online shopping in these nations in 2004.
It is apparent from the information provided that Internet use was far more prevalent in Britain than in any other places listed during the time frame. Another striking point is that France was renowned for Internet shopping in 2004.
Looking at the details, as regards Britain, from 16 million users in 1995, the figure soared to a staggering 41 million ones in 2005. Second in terms of Internet use was Germany. This country witnessed a threefold increase, starting from 2 million to 6 million users after ten years. The same pattern can be seen for France. The two nations, meanwhile, with the fewest number of Internet users were Switzerland and Spain.
It is interesting to note that online shopping in France contributed approximately half of the total sum, which was double that in Germany with some 20 percent. At the same time, Switzerland accounted for somewhere in the vicinity of a third.
