You recently attended a meeting at a hotel. When you returned home, you found you had left some important papers at the hotel.
Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter
a. say where you think you left the papers
b. explain why they were so important
c. tell the manager what you want him/her to do
Dear Sir or madam,
I attended a business meeting at your ABC hotel today evening which was conducted in the conference room just to the left of your main entrance, name of the room being DEF. The meeting was held between 4 PM to 5:30 PM.
Unfortunately, I think I forgot certain documents in the meeting room after the meeting. All these documents should be in a blue envelope on the table or on one of the few chairs in that room.
These documents contain some very important business plans which are crucial for our company's future customer acquisition strategy. Therefore, these documents must be collected and kept in confidential manner.
Could you please collect the folder at earliest and keep it with Mr. PQR since he was in-charge for providing logistics for above mentioned meeting? I will collect it from him tomorrow morning at around 8:15 AM. If he would not be available at that time, kindly let me know name of any alternate person from whom I can collect the same.
Thank you,
Yours faithfully,
Mr. XYZ
