In three of the six educational settings, females outnumbered males. Females teachers made up a particularly large proportion of teachers in educational settings related to teaching children and teenagers: Nursery/Pre-school, Primary school, and Secondary School. The gender gap was particularly large in the field of Nursery and Pre-school, where there were 10 times as many female teachers as males teachers.
In Private training institute, there were an outnumbered of males teachers. This was also true in University education where men’s teachers were 4 times bigger than females teachers. The College Education was the only educational setting in which Men and female teachers were more equally represented.
Overall, the chart shows that the educational settings were dominated by females teachers. However, men have a significant presence in fields related to professional preparations such as Private training and University programs.
