Last month you had a holiday overseas where you stayed witht some friends. They have just sent you some photos of your holiday.
Write a letter to your friends. In your letter
- Thank them for the photos and for the holiday
- Explain why didn’t write earlier
- Invite them to come and stay with you
Dear Mark and Steve,
Hope you are doing great. I have received the photos of our holiday you sent and I am extremely grateful to you for the wonderful time we had and also for the beautiful photographs.
After reaching back here, I was busy with some pending work at the office and straight away I went for a client meeting in Newyork. That is the reason why I could not write you earlier. But today while I checked the photographs, a lot of memories flashed in my mind and I was completely in a nostalgic mood for quite some time. Needless to say ,the sites we visited , the food and the adventure activities we did are always going to be cherished and I know you people also feel the same.
Anyway, I think you have to come and visit my place this winter as we discussed earlier. It is the perfect time here to explore and I will make sure you feel worth your time. Please schedule some days for the trip and let me know the plans. once again, thank you so much for the joyful vacation.
With love
