Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the Local Council that they decided to demolish the Old Market Center in the Old Town.
This building has been a historic landmark of our area for over 100 years. This is a Flea Market where people can sell previously-owned merchandise. But the important thing is that the style of the building belongs to the Baroque architecture. Whether it is sculpture or color, it has a unique artistic atmosphere. Even so, after a long period of used and insufficient maintenance, the building became dilapidated, case it lost the gorgeous and solemn feeling of the year.
I believe that the Old Market Center can be restored. I suggest it can be used to house a tourist information center or community center. As far as the fundraising is concerned, I hope the Council can promote and publicize the maintenance of the building. Moreover, I suggest if the Council can build the shopping center close to residential that can conveniently people to buy daily necessities.
I hope that the Local Council reconsiders its decision of destroying the Old Market Center.
