Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to you to express my interest for the position of librarian job especially during summer's. Firstly, I am a first year student majoring in computer science and I got to know about this wonderful opportunity when I saw it on the announcement board posted outside our library office department.

Secondly, I have worked as a part-time assistant in library department at my school mostly after school hours where I was in charge of managing student database which included issued and received date and was also responsible for putting the right books in appropriate sections of shelves. If someone would have crossed the due date, we always make sure to collect the fine from the person.

Thirdly, I would be grateful to have such a wonderful opportunity knocking at my door because it would not only provide me financial assistance but would also be quite useful for me by indulging in reading books and articles. On top of that, all the above activities will make the best utilization of my free time during my summer holidays.

I look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Yours FaithFully
