Some people say gifts are important while other think the human presence provides a better source of contact. Discuss both views and give your opinion in conclusion.
A gift is a token of love. We give presents to our loved ones and family and the feeling is very fulfilling. We give gifts on different occasions, like on birthdays, weddings, graduations, parties and more. Giving gifts should not be a daily chore.
Each event has a different impact and value. The affection and intentions behind are different. Here is a research that says the gift of an extraordinary value leads to a crook relation. Because all of us want something in return. Either we agree or not. Deep down we like to be pampered and taken care of. For example, once I posted an expensive gift to a close friend on her, it was a beautiful watch and she really liked it very much. But, she in her heart thought that she is bound to give me something as expensive in return to prove her friendship. Soon things between us got imbalanced and she slowly stepped back. The situation was inevitable.
By contrast, being there on small moments with your dear ones can change the whole picture. It establishes and strengthens the relationship. A hug, a kiss, and affection can heal the wounds quickly. Scientists have proven that the human body is a source of emotional radiations and have the capability of mending hearts. For example, when a child will always run to his mother when in time of pain, failure, discomfort. Because the magnitude of love waves work like a miracle. It works like a sacred fountain which washes all the dirt from heart and soul. But this is a gem hard to find these days, as people have become busier.
So, in conclusion, both actions depicts pure feelings. Each of them plays a vital role in enriching the human bond. But, I feel that physical presence is more valuable, as gifts are temporary and most of the times they do not show love.
