Dear Sir,
I am writing to express sheer disappointment with respect to delay in luggage checking, which made me miss my flight.
I expected to reach Goa by Jet Airways, flight number 'ABZ120' and reached the airport on time to get the baggage formalities done. There was a big queue and there were many passengers before me. When my turn came, it was almost very late and they felt something suspicious in bag. The officer asked me to unpack my items for further inquiry. The bag was tightly packed and I had to unload all the items. although nothing was found, I had face great trouble and could not re-pack the bag on time. Consequently, this made me miss the flight.
Unfortunately, I could not reach to the important meeting in Goa and the work was affected. The clients left unhappy and this incident made great loss to the company.
I am quite sure that such thing would have not occured if the airport authorities would have adequately manage the queue. Admittedly, if my bag was checked early, I would have packed my items on time. The loss incurred could not be compensated but I would expect full refund to flight tickets.
