It is true that automobiles are major contributor in temperature hike among several other factors such as fastest growing industries and infrastructure expansion. In modern age, rapid growth in usage of vehicles are affecting our environment then the past, therefore, harming global atmosphere and people health as well which is being cascaded in future too. This essay will discuss about our environment and people well-being.
To begin with, carriage running on gasoline were never environment friendly neither it is in the modern age. It is defeating our atmosphere by polluting it from emitted harmful and toxic gases. Therefore, inhaling polluted air affects a person lung and causes severe health issues. For example, according to a popular newspaper survey, reported number of cancer cases has just doubled in this decade as compared to last one. In addition, most people don’t realize it, but noise pollution is no laughing matter. Not only annoying and inconvenient sometime, but large amount of noise pollution causes various hearing problems. Moreover, heat generated from vehicle engine and air conditioners are also creating temperature variations which cannot be ignored too.
To counter this, governance body should run awareness program to educate people towards avoid or less usage of cars, use car-pool and public transport. Encourage them to save environment so that they can breathe in fresh air. Moreover, some policies and purposeful clauses to buy a vehicle, increased road taxes and fuels price can help to limit the usage to save the environment.
All things considered, health of a person should always be a priority which will come from a healthy environment, so usage of motor vehicle should have limited to the specific purpose only. Although, it cannot be stopped in today’s world, but some strict policies can help to control it.
