It is obvious that massive car usage has caused global warming and other negative impacts on people's health and well-being. This essay will discuss about ways to overcome the problem.
Firstly, the way to overcome this growing number of car usage is by improving the current public transportation. Previously, a lot of people may feel uncomfortable using public transportation thus they choose to save money and buy their own cars. By providing a great and comfortable public transportation, people will not feel reluctant to switch from personal car to public transportation. As a result, the number of car usage can be reduced and several problems caused by it will be overcame.
Secondly, the other way to solve this problem is by increasing the car tax. If the car tax is increased, people will think twice before buying a car because it will make them spend more money than they should have spent. Moreover, owning a car itself already needs a lot maintenance fee, so the increasing car tax will only make people unwilling to buy a car. Finally, the number of car usage can be minimized which can prevent other problems to happen.
In conclusion, the problem with massive car usage can be overcame through two ways, improving the current public transportation and increasing the car tax.
