I hope this letter of mine finds you in great spirits. The purpose of my letter to you revolves around 'Helpline', a charity organization formed by the students of my college which aims to provide financial support to the poor who are undergoing treatment in the City Government Hospital.
You should know that, off late, I am deeply connected with Helpline. It pains me to see the down-trodden people of our community being deprived of even the most basic health-care due to the inflated costs of the latter. Helpline has provided me with a medium where I can contribute towards that part of our society which is in dire need of monetary help.
It would be a great gesture of yours towards the needy if you can contribute a modest sum of three hundred rupees to Helpline at this moment as we are running short of money.
