Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to convey my regrets about the decision made in the city's council to demolish one of our historic building The Governor's Residence in London. The building was built by the first prime minister of England, and another speciality about the building is it was constructed using the designs of Leonardo di Caprio the famous architect from Italy. Moreover, it is also a well-known tourist spot in the city.

The building serves the community in a variety of ways. Firstly, it helps civil engineering students from our local colleges to learn more about medieval constructions. Secondly, various town hall meetings are organised in that building. Finally, it boosts the neighbourhood business, since it attracts visitors from across the continent.

To overcome the problem of lack of funds, we can run fund raising campaigns in nearby provinces, seeking help from public. Additionally, we are eligible to apply for monuments preservation aid in the European Union since the building is more than 500 years old.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,
Alex Peralta.
