Write a letter to your local council that road in front of your house is damaged. In your letter, you should:
Tell him your name and where are you living
Describe the problem
Suggest what you want him to do.
Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Ruchi, a resident of Prasavnath society, for 7 years, and I am writing this letter to draw your attention towards the problem of the dilapidated road outside my residence which is causing unbearable miseries for all the residents.
Three months ago, a builder started the construction of a new block in the lane, where my home is situated. Since all the heavy vehicles carrying construction material used to pass through this lane, the road got broken. At that time, the builder promised us to repair the road; however, three months have passed, but no action has been taken and the condition of the road is still pathetic. There have also been some incidents of minor accidents due to the damaged road.
In view of the above-mentioned situation, I would advise you to send a team of construction workers so that road can be repaired at the earliest.
I am looking forward to a prompt response in this matter.
Yours faithfully,
Ruchi Verma
