I am writing this letter to inform you about my decision to discontinue the course which I was pursuing in your college. The reason for my sudden change of mind is explained further and hopefully, you will understand my request to quit the studies.
I had joined a part-time training program for learning computer programming six months ago in your college. I have completed two levels of my training, however, the practice for final level is going on. I have been attending my class regularly in the evening slot. Unfortunately, my father had met with an accident last week. He has got severe injuries and is still hospitalized. Being the eldest child in my family, I have the responsibility to take care of my father and my family.
Therefore, I want to request you to either approve my application to have two months break in my studies or to issue me the certificate for the completion of two previous levels of my training. If circumstances allowed me, I will definitely complete my course training after the full recovery of my father's health.
I hope by taking into account my current situation, my request will be accepted by you. I will wait for the updates from your side.
